Flowers

I was given a bunch of gorgeous purple and yellow flowers and decided to take a photo of them.

They look beautiful in it's original colours but I think it is breath taking in black and white.

Do you guys like it?

One of my favourite drinks.

Hi guys,
Yesterday I went to Nando's and my mum bought this. 😍
I have had a Radler before but only a Fosters one and Sagres Radler is soo good. It tastes amazing.

You all should try it!

Popart Nails

This gift is one of the best I have ever received. Rimmel London's pop art!

This is absolutely fantastic because you can wear it over any colour and it works spectacularly. I used it over Alice and Eliza's shining pink.

And it creates a really cool look that matches any outfit.

Has anyone else come across this Popart nail varnish?

Nando's Coffee

I went to Nando's a while back and thought that I would try a coffee of theirs. I had never tried one because, well, let's face it. I only go there for the good grub.

But the coffee was very good. I would suggest to have the coffee after your meal. It is a great way to relax and wind down.

Who else has tried a coffee from Nando's? ☕️

Christmassy!

There is still that lovely Christmassy feeling when stepping inside my nans house. Full of massive decorations and cute little ornaments such as this. I loved how she placed it with this candle stick. Made such a lovely piece.

Old vintage candle

I was at my nans and I couldn't help but notice just how cute this candle holder was.
It is vintage and totally beautiful. I love it.

Lipstick crayons

I was given for Christmas these lip crayons from Jack Wills. I had never tried a lip crayon before but they are brilliant.

They go on really smooth and the colour lasts all day.
These are the four colours from the Jack Wills range.

What do you think?

What do you prefer?

Footwear

This is one of my favourite footwear. The tartan high heels from New Look.

I think they are absolutely stunning to wear for a formal event such as a birthday or a date but can also be rocked out with a good pair of fitted jeans and a top.

These are the statement of your outfit and can be matched with a tartan scarf and a tartan bag. These can either be red to match or a clashing tartan colour scheme. Either way it would look fab!

A Good Read

For Christmas my mum bought me this.

I had to admit that I had heard of this book due to social media but I have no clue who Zoe/Zoella was.

I decided to trust my mum and give it a read and it is so interesting. A truly good read. The storyline is so gripping and I would recommend this to anyone!

Who else has read this?

What's your favourite part?

Beautiful Sunset

I went for a walk one evening and there was this beautiful sunset and above the beautiful colours of the skyline you can see the moon.

It was magical. Especially with the tree infront.

IKEA

Now I saw this picture online and thought that I needed to have this in my room. I'm pretty sure most girls would agree with me.

What do you think?

Do you like this piece of furniture from IKEA?

A Must Have.. Not Just For Winter.. But All Year Round!

A couple of months ago I signed up to a company called Pact Coffee. This was probably one of the best decisions ever. Pact is definitely a must have to all you lovely coffee drinkers.

When I first joined I received a box like this.
This was the Pact starter pack. Everything needed to brew and drink a good cup of coffee. I thought this was absolutely brilliant and had to share with people.

Inside the starter pack there was your very own flavour of fresh coffee which you got to choose online before the shipment; a cafetiere along with filters and a measuring spoon; a travel mug and a starter booklet.

I thought this was brilliant.
And for the price of it too! You get to choose the favour of coffee each time and when you want it shipped out to you. This makes this personal to you. Such a nice touch.

This is something great for everyone. For those coffee addicts who cannot get enough; for those slow drinkers who enjoy the taste of great blends and for students who don't want to spend a great deal to get a great fix of coffee.

I know this is where I go for my great tasting cuppa!

My advice to all..

Try it!

My opinion on the Tv Programme Skins.

Recently, I've been persuaded into watching the Tv Programme Skins. Skins is a British teen drama that follows a group of teens in Bristol, South West England, through their two years of Sixth Form (equivalent to junior and senior year of high school in the US).

I have nearly finished Series One and have to say that it is not what I was expecting at all. It is even better than what I expected. Skins is a programme which is able to cover all aspects of teenage life; Sex; Drink; Drugs; Love; Hatred; Heartbreak; Friendship and much more.

It is a series which shows that there is ups and downs throughout life. It reflects upon the reality within a teenagers life; the troubles and problems which they have to face everyday and ways they try to overcome them; as well as the good moments filled with happiness and joy. By showing every angle of a teenagers life realistically it means that we can fully understand the struggles with which some of us have to go through.

What makes Skins such a brilliant programme is that it shows that every single one of us have our own problems and hardships which we all have to face at some point, whether we want to or not; such as Anorexia, Anxiety, Drug Addiction, Alcoholism, the pressure and stress of being a virgin, teenage pregnancy, the trouble that comes with homosexuality, religious views and beliefs, and having to adapt and recover from a fatal head injury causing memory loss.

What I like so much about this programme is that the viewers are able to relate to what is in the programme whether it is one of the themes stated above or, friendship, family and relationship issues. It is a show which makes you have a different view and opinion on things that are happening in your own life. To me, Skins has been extremely helpful to me. I have been able to relate to the characters and what some of them have gone through and it has made me reflect upon my own life and how to act within certain situations. One of the situations being relationships.

Skins has shown me how people can manipulate you without you even realising it and how to get out of the situation. It shows you that people should never be able to walk all over you and control your every move; no matter how much you like them and whether they are your family or friends or partners.

I would suggest to all of you to give Skins a try. It is not only just an eye-opening Tv Programme but a damn good, gripping, jaw dropping and heart pounding show. It is a brilliant watch.

Have you ever been affected by any of the themes stated above? If so comment below and share your story.

CATS:The Musical

I went to see the timeless classic Cats: The Musical on the 23rd as a pre-christmas present. It was the best musicals I have ever gone to see live and one I would recommend to all of you! Such a shame that John Partridge couldn't play his original role as Rum Tum Tiger.

In the new year I will definitely be going back to see this again. I might even pay extra to meet the cast. It would be so worth it for this!

The Struggles of Writing Your First Blog.

I didn't really know what to write in my first blog but then I realised... Why don't I write about writing a first blog. Ironic; I know.

We have all has the frustrating experience of mind block, whether it be over writing a blog; to coursework; to writing a story or even sending a text message. Annoying right? Well I had that feeling whilst staring at my computer screen, tapping my thumb on the space bar, and rattling my brain for a great blog idea.

Ok, granted this idea probably isn't any better than anything else I would have uploaded but, to me, I thought it could be quite relatable to some people. So... Here goes.
The biggest problem with writing a blog is the actual concept to write about. So how do you think of something great? Well... Great ideas are all around you. You just need to look harder.

Great ideas could be within what you do during the day to what you see. Once you have a great idea then you need to think of how to write it, for example, you could re-tell it within a fictional story; and make sure you add your own stamp to it.
Also I would suggest adding a catchy title. That way people are more inclined to read your blog. Once you have done all of this then your first blog post is complete.

I've been told the best thing to write in your first blog is what your blog post is going to  be about. But who actually knows what their page is actually going to be about and stick to it. You could think of something amazing to share but you have already stated that your blog is about something else.

Therefore I won't be writing or sharing just one specific thing on my blog. My blog will be about a variety of things as stated in my description. I will be uploading things to do with fashion; short stories and generic blog entries.

Now that I have rambled on. What about you?

Have any of you struggled with writing something? What was this?

And what were your first blog posts about?
